Two way Besan Cheela

Ingredients to make Two way Besan Cheela

  • besan 1 cup
  • onions chopped 1/4 cup
  • capsicum chopped 1/4 cup
  • green chillies chopped 3-4
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • mint leaves 1 tbsp
  • yoghurt 2 tbsp
  • water to make batter
  • chapati 3-4 (leftover can also be used, optional)
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required

How to make Two way Besan Cheela

  1. Mix all the ingredients except for chapatis and oil, to make partly thick batter.
  2. Heat nonstick tawa, grease with little oil.
  3. Pour batter and spread it to make cheela at low heat.
  4. When one side is cooked then flip and cook the other side.
  5. Cook the rest of the batter in the same manner.
  6. Second way to cook :
  7. Pour batter on the tawa, spread it in size of a chappati, then place the chappati on it and cook.
  8. Now pour some batter on the chappati and spread it and flip the chappati and cook till done.
