Makhani Sakkarpara( lunch box favourite)

Ingredients to make Makhani Sakkarpara( lunch box favourite)

  • all purpose flour 1 1/2 cup.
  • wheat flour 1/2 cup.
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • butter 1/2 cup ( unsalted )
  • sugar 3/4 to 1 cup
  • Cardemom powder 1/2 tsp
  • ghee for Deep Frying

How to make Makhani Sakkarpara( lunch box favourite)

  1. Beat butter and Sugar well.
  2. Add both flours and Cardamom
  3. Mix milk
  4. Knead flour ( tighter than roti.) , use water if needed. Divide in balls.
  5. Heat ghee ( oil) . Roll a little thick roti and cut Diamond shaped fritters ( Sakkarpara ).
  6. Deep fry them till little brownish.
  7. Enjoy till you finish last piece.

My Tip:

During Frying first test by putting just one piece. If you feel its spreading than add little more wheat flour. You need to take exact amount of butter. If more than there are chances of spreading. Don't worry just add flour and adjust sugar. Don't add any oil , ghee or butter.
