Ingredients to make Jambool

  • sooji 250gm
  • milk 250ml
  • sugar 1 cup
  • water as required
  • elaichi 2-3

How to make Jambool

  1. Boil milk.
  2. Add sooji and make it into a thick mixture ( just like upma ) and let this mixture cool
  3. Knead this mixture along with powdered cardamom and make it into small balls.
  4. Deep fry the balls till dark brown color
  5. In a thick bottom pan, add sugar and water and boil it to single string consistency.
  6. Add the fried balls into the sugar syrup. A white coating of sugar will begin to appear
  7. The dish is now ready to be served
