ORANGE MALPUA

Ingredients to make ORANGE MALPUA

  • 2 cups maida
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp fennel seed
  • 2 tbsp orange powder (rasna or any fruit drink powder)
  • oil to fry
  • 4-5 tbsp milk

How to make ORANGE MALPUA

  1. Soak semolina in water for atleast 15mins.
  2. Mix all ingredients with the help of milk and very little water.Make a batter which is neither so thick and nor so light.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai.Pour the batter with the help of a big spoon.Fry in low-medium flame till the side gets coloured.
  4. Serve when cooled.

My Tip:

You can pour them into sugar syrup also after frying.
