Ingredients to make Chirote

  • 1cup maida
  • 1table spoon suji
  • 1table spoon dahi
  • 1spoon oil
  • For chasni :-
  • 3/4cup sugar
  • 1/2cup water
  • Few strands of saffron
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Chirote

  1. In a bowl sieve maida
  2. Mix suji,curd and oil
  3. Make dough
  4. Cover it with clean kitchen towel
  5. Rest it for 30 minutes
  6. Now divide the dough into 4 equal parts
  7. Make 4 equal size chapati
  8. Take 1chapati and sprinkle butter and maida
  9. Now place another chapati over previous and repeat this process till all 4
  10. Now start to fold these like cylindrical shape
  11. cut into small pieces
  12. Roll them in thick puri
  13. Deep fry them in oil
  14. Dip in hot sugar syrup for 1 minute
  15. For sugar syrup:-
  16. On medium flame mix sugar and water in a bowl
  17. Stir it till sugar dissolve in water
  18. Not need for any string consistency.
  19. Add few strands of kesar and cardamom powder
