Eggless Mango Cheesecake with Oreo Crust

Ingredients to make Eggless Mango Cheesecake with Oreo Crust

  • Condensed milk - 1 tin (Nestle milkmaid)
  • Agar agar powder - 2 tbsp
  • water - 1/2 cup
  • mango chopped - 400 gms (Alphonso)
  • Paneer/cottage cheese grated - 200 gms
  • mango Essence 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh cream - 200 ml (Amul cream)
  • Oreo biscuts - 15 nos.
  • butter melted - 5 tbsp
  • mango jelly packet - 1 (WiekField)
  • mint leaves - garnish
  • tuti Fruiti - Optional for garnish

How to make Eggless Mango Cheesecake with Oreo Crust

  1. Crush the oreos in a blender till fine crumbs. Add melted butter and mix well till it resembles bread crumbs.
  2. Grease the base of 12 glasses so the crust is easy to remove to eat. Add 2 tbsp of the Oreo crumbs to each glass and press it down firmly and set it aside.
  3. Soak the agar agar powder in room temperature water for 5 minutes and then boil it to activate it.
  4. In a blender add the paneer and Milkmaid and blend till smooth.
  5. Chop the mangoes finely and add in the blender and mix well.
  6. Add the cream, slightly cooled agar agar mixture and essence and whisk the whole mixture till creamy.
  7. Pour equal quantity in each of the glasses and let it set for 30 minutes.
  8. Make the jelly as per the instructions on the packet and pour it over the set cheesecake and leave it for final 30 minutes to set.

My Tip:

I set it in small shot glasses for individual serving you can set it in a Spring form mould to make a cake. Let it set in fridge for overnight. You can use any biscuits if you don't like chocolate Oreos.
