Dry Chilli Chicken

Ingredients to make Dry Chilli Chicken

  • 500 gm pieces of chicken, cut into bite sizes
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Refined flour 2 tbsp
  • 1 egg
  • ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Few green chillies 2-3
  • vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Ajinamoto (optional) a pinch
  • chilli sauce 1 tsp
  • 1 green capsicum, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, cut into cubes
  • Chopped ginger-garlic 1 tbsp
  • Chopped spring onions 1/4 cup
  • salt as per taste
  • pepper as per taste
  • oil for cooking

How to make Dry Chilli Chicken

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, chilli sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, salt, pepper for 2 hours.
  2. Before frying, add in corn flour, refined flour, 1 beaten egg and mix it nicely. Now shallow fry the chicken and keep it aside.
  3. In the remaining oil, add in the chopped ginger-garlic, capsicum and onions. Saute it for a few minutes.
  4. Then add in the remaining vinegar, soya sauce, chilli sauce, salt, ajinomoto, slit green chilies and the fried chicken. Mix it well.
  5. Garnish with some chopped spring onions and serve.
