Easy Chilli Potatoes

Ingredients to make Easy Chilli Potatoes

  • potatoes cut into finger shapes- 5 medium size
  • cornflour/ Corn starch 3 tablespoon
  • salt to taste
  • White pepper powder- a pinch
  • oil 2 tbsp + to deep fry
  • onions 2 medium size, chopped
  • garlic 1/2 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • garlic paste 1/2 tablespoon
  • green chillies slit 4
  • Soy sauce 2 teaspoon
  • MSG a pinch (optional)
  • vinegar 1 teaspoon

How to make Easy Chilli Potatoes

  1. Add the potatoes in a bowl. Then add in the corn flour, salt and white pepper powder. Then mix it well and set it aside for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan. Add in the onion roundels and saute for 2 minutes or until it turns pink in colour. Then add in the garlic paste and saute for half a minute.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the potatoes till they are crisp. Then drain on an absorbent paper and add it to the onion-garlic mixture.
  4. Add green chillies, soy sauce and MSG, mix it well together. Check the seasonings, then add the vinegar and mix it well.
  5. Serve it hot.
