Ingredients to make Egg Foo Young

  • eggs 2
  • Bean sprouts 20 grams
  • spring onion 2
  • mushrooms 2 (cooked)
  • chicken pieces cooked 1/4 cup
  • Small shrimps 5, cooked
  • Salt and pepper
  • For Sauce-
  • chicken broth 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 2 teaspoon
  • Light soy sauce 2 teaspoon
  • sesame seeds 1 teaspoon

How to make Egg Foo Young

  1. Make sauce. 1st Combine all ingredients under sauce, cook till the bubbles come and it s thick.
  2. Mix all ingredients to make omelette. Add salt.
  3. Heat a pan, pour the full mixture in the pan. Cook for 5 minutes. Just make the liquid on top cook well. If not keep on fire for some more time. Then carefully, flip it, cook the other side also for 2 to 3 minutes. If you cant cook the whole quantity at one take, better do it twice. Make two omelettes.
  4. Pour the sauce, you made on top, serve hot.

My Tip:

You can take it as breakfast, or as a dish for rice. It can be served as a filling for sandwiches. We can add anything in it, pork, mutton, like that. It can be made with leftover things also.
