Ingredients to make Chinese Platter

  • FOR LOTUS STEM MANCHURIAN
  • 1/2 a piece of lotus stem
  • 1/2 grated carrot
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chillies
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped beans
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon cornflour
  • oil for greasing the balls
  • FOR GRAVY
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon tomato chilli sauce
  • few drops of soy sauce
  • pinch of salt
  • little water as required
  • FOR CHOWMEIN
  • 1 small packet of chowmein or noodles
  • enough water to boil the noodles
  • little salt
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chings chowmein masala
  • 2 tablespoon green, yellow and red capsicums finely cut in long thin slices
  • 4 tablespoon finely round sliced onions
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli paste
  • 2 tablespoon chopped spring onions green
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • FOR peanut FRIED RICE
  • 12 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 tablespoon finely chopped capsicum, onion, beans
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chillies
  • 2 tablespoon masala peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon mixed sauce which has soy sauce, tomato chilli sauce and vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • FOR HOT garlic VEGETABLES
  • All the desired vegetables like carrot, beans, capsicums tricolour and baby corn.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour slurry
  • water as required
  • salt to taste

How to make Chinese Platter

  1. FOR MANCHURIAN:-
  2. Boil the lotus stem, peel and grate it.
  3. In a mixing bowl put together carrot, lotus stem, beans, green chillies, salt and cornflour.
  4. Mix nicely and give it a lolipop shape using lotus stem boiled stick.
  5. Heat the oil and deep fry all the manchurians.
  6. Take a big wok, put some oil, add garlic and all the sauces.
  7. Add cornflour slurry.
  8. Add water and boil it for few minutes.
  9. Now add manchurian balls and garnish with spring onion green.
  10. CHOWMEIN RECIPE:-
  11. Boil the noodles with little salt and water.
  12. Take a wok, put some oil.
  13. Add garlic, all the vegetables, onions and saute it for 2 minutes.
  14. Add boiled noodles, chowmein masala and mix it nicely.
  15. Add all the sauces.
  16. Add salt.
  17. Serve hot.
  18. FOR PEANUT FRIED RICE:-
  19. Heat oil in a pan and put garlic, green chillies saute for a while.
  20. Add all vegetables, onion and cook for a minute.
  21. Add mixed sauces and salt.
  22. Add masala peanuts and mix nicely.
  23. HOT GARLIC VEGETABLES
  24. Boil the vegetables and keep them aside.
  25. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion saute for few minutes.
  26. Add all the vegetables(boiled), all the mixed sauces, cornflour slurry.
  27. Let it boil and after boiling for 5 minutes add salt and pepper stirring continuously.
  28. Take a big serving plate and place the chowmein in the middle.
  29. Take two capsicum bowls.
  30. Serve hot garlic vegetables in one capsicum bowl and serve fried rice in another capsicum bowl.
  31. Arrange both the capsicum bowls on both the corners of chowmein as shown in picture.
  32. Serve lotus stem manchurian in separate bowl.
  33. Serve hot and enjoy the Chinese platter.

My Tip:

We can use all the healthy vegetables in this chinese platter.
