Green peas cutlets filled with cheese. Serve with spicy gravy as a main dish with chapati or rice

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for kofta
  2. Green peas 1/2cup
  3. Cheese cube 1
  4. Boil mash aloo 1/2cup
  5. Green chilli 2
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp
  7. Salt
  8. Cornflour 2tbsp
  9. ingredients for gravy
  10. Onions 2 fried to light brown
  11. Tomatoes 2 chopped
  12. Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  13. Jeera1tsp
  14. Kaju paste 1tbsp
  15. Creem 1tbsp
  16. Salt
  17. Red chilli 1tsp
  18. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  19. sugar 1tsp
  20. Oil 3tbsp
  21. Garm masala 1tsp

Instructions

  1. For kofta crush peas.
  2. Add all ingredients mentioned for kofta (cutlets) and mix well to make a dough
  3. Take a little portion or dough in your palm
  4. Put a little piece ot cheese in the middle and make a round cutlet
  5. Deep fry them to golden brown and keep aside
  6. For gravy -
  7. Make a paste of fried onions and tomatoes
  8. Heat oil in a pan and jeera
  9. Add ginger garlic paste and saute
  10. Add onion-tomato paste and cook for a while
  11. Add salt chili powder turmeric powder garam masala and mix well
  12. Add kaju paste, cream sugar cook till oil separates
  13. Add 1/2cup of water to the gravy. leave on a low flame for 3-4min covered by a lid
  14. Turn off gas
  15. For serving, pour gravy on a plate put cutlets and serve with roti or rice
