Shredded Chicken Roast

Ingredients to make Shredded Chicken Roast

  • Boneless chicken pieces 12 or 1 chicken breast.
  • onion - 5 (medium).
  • green chillies 3
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves.
  • ginger 1 big piece
  • garlic paste 1tbsp
  • tomatoes 3
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp or according to taste
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp.
  • salt
  • oil 3 tbsp.

How to make Shredded Chicken Roast

  1. Cook chicken pieces in a pressure cooker with some salt & turmeric for 5 minutes
  2. Let it cool and debone it. Make very small pieces .
  3. Cut onion, tomato and ginger . In a pan put oil, add garlic paste, ginger,chillies & curry leaves. Fry for sometime. Then add onion. Fry till done.
  4. Then put shredded chicken pieces,along with all masalas ,salt,& lemon juice. Fry well for a few seconds. Then add sliced tomatoes. Sprinkle some generous amount of water. Adjust seasoning. Cover & cook till it is very dry.
  5. Add one tsp of coconut oil & put some curry leaves. If you like you can add coriander leaves, it is also very tasty. If some one wants this dish, with semi gravy, you can make it this way.

My Tip:

Serve hot. If you like it with semi thick gravy, you can make it that way. Some don't prefer very dry dish with rotis.
