Ingredients to make Bhajji Milagai & Baby Potato Fry

  • Bajji Milagai - 5
  • Small potatoes – 250 gms
  • turmeric Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • garlic cloves – 4
  • besan powder - 2 teaspoon
  • curry leaves - few
  • oil - 1.5 tablespoon
  • salt - to taste

How to make Bhajji Milagai & Baby Potato Fry

  1. Chop the garlic clove into small pieces. Cut the bhaji milagai in to big chunks.
  2. Pressure cook small potatoes for just 2 whistles. Once the pressure is released take out and peel the skin.
  3. Take a non stick pan and add oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add garlic and let it fry for 2 minutes. The garlic flavor must infuse into the oil.
  5. Add bhajji milagai and let it fry for just 1 minute.
  6. Add small potatoes, salt, turmeric, besan powder and curry leaves.
  7. Mix them well.
  8. Cook in low flame gas until they turn crispy.

My Tip:

Potato should not be overcooked. It would turn mushy. No need to add chilli powder or other spice as bhajji milagai is spicy enough.
