ABOUT Potato Poppers RECIPE

This a happy reciepe at my place. This starter is so crunchy and creamy that you cant resist. This small soft pop that jus melt in your mouth to give you heavenly cheesy flavour so you cant stop munching.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1. Potatoes 4 (boiled and mashed)
  2. 2. Cheese cubes 4 (cut each into 4 squares)
  3. 3. Cornflour 2tsp
  4. 4. Black pepper powder 1tsp
  5. 5. Chat masala 1tsp
  6. 6. Green chillies 3 (very finely chopped)
  7. 7. Bread crumbs for rolling
  8. 8. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and boil potaoes. When cool mash it well with palms.
  2. 2. Transfer it into a bowl, add all ingridients except cheese, breadcrumbs and oil. If you feel it has little moisture add more cornflour.
  3. 3. As per the instruction given, cut cheese and keep aside. Remove bread crumbs on a plate
  4. 4. Now make balls of the mashed potaoes and make a dent in between, add a small piece of cheese in it and intact it well into a ball. Likewise make all the cheese poppers. Keep it in fridge for half an hour.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan, roll each poppers onto the bread crumbs and deep fry them.
  6. Serve them hot with your fav sauce and enjoy the molten cheesy flavour this winter
