Ingredients to make Aaloo Matar Tikki

  • 1/2 kg boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp Dhaniya powder
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 2-3 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • chopped green coriander
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for shallow frying
  • Beaten curd
  • Dhaniya chutney
  • imli chutney

How to make Aaloo Matar Tikki

  1. Add all the dry masalas and cornflour in the boiled mashed potatoes and mix well.
  2. Add boiled peas, chopped green chillies, ginger and coriander too. mix again.
  3. Now make round tikkis of the dough.
  4. Shallow fry on the tawa on a low medium flame from both sides..
  5. Serve with beaten curd, dhaniya and imli chutney
