Healthy French Toasts ( Superquick breakfast)

Ingredients to make Healthy French Toasts ( Superquick breakfast)

  • Brown Bread slices - 7 nos.
  • eggs - 3 nos.
  • onion - 1 chopped finely
  • capsicum - 1 small chopped finely
  • green chilly - 1 chopped finely
  • tomato - 1 small chopped finely ( optional )
  • red chilly powder - 2 pinches
  • turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • salt - as requied
  • Corriander leaves - finely chopped
  • oil - as requied

How to make Healthy French Toasts ( Superquick breakfast)

  1. Take a bowl. Add chopped onion, green chilly, capsicum, tomato, turmeric, salt and corrainder leaves and mix well.
  2. Break and beat 3 eggs into it and whisk everything gently.
  3. Heat 1 table spoon oil on a nonstick tawa.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
  5. Spread 2 spoonful of egg mixture evenly on a side of bread slice. Place bread on the nonstick tawa, mixture side down. ( shown as below )
  6. Now spread egg mixture on upper side.
  7. When the base gets golden, flip the bread and toast the other side.
  8. Cook until golden brown on both sides, approx. 40 seconds per side. Repeat with the remaining breads..
  9. Cut each french toast in half and serve hot.

My Tip:

U can dip bread slice in egg mixture. But I prefer the bread to be not soggy so I always spread mixture on bread slice.
