Ingredients to make Raw Banana Cutlets

  • 3 - Raw Bananas – boiled peeled and mashed
  • 3 Potatoes – boiled peeled and mashed
  • 6 bread slices – Soaked in water and squeezed dry
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tsp - Red Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp - Coriander Powder
  • 2 Green Chilies – minced finely
  • 1 tbsp - finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • 1/2 cup - breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp - Chaat Masala

How to make Raw Banana Cutlets

  1. In a bowl mix the boiled, peeled and mashed Raw Bananas and Potatoes.
  2. Add the soaked bread slices, salt, Red Chili and Coriander Powders, minced Green Chilies and chopped Coriander leaves. Mix well and bind to a firm mixture.
  3. Shape into cylindrical shapes or croquettes.
  4. Heat Oil in a pan.Take the milk in a bowl and the breadcrumbs on a plate.Dip each croquette in milk and roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. When the oil is hot enough fry them on medium heat till crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve with Ketchup or Chutney!Real yum!
