Ingredients to make Mango Cookies

  • 1 and 1/2 cup Maida (all purpose flour)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp butter( room temperature )
  • 7 table spoon sugar
  • salt a pinch
  • 1 tea spoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tbsp mango puree (1 ripe mango peeled, chopped and pureed)

How to make Mango Cookies

  1. Sieve Maida flour, salt and baking powder. Keep it aside. Beat butter and sugar using electric blender or hand whisk.
  2. Add essence and mango mix to it. Whisk it again. Fold in flour mixture with the butter mixture. Knead to form dough. Grease your palm with oil and knead it. Keep the dough in refrigerator for half an hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C for 10 mins. Grease baking tray with a little oil.
  4. Take out the dough from refrigerator and make small balls. Place the balls on the tray and press it lightly
  5. Bake the cookies in the oven for 12-15 mins or till completely baked. Take out the cookies and cool it on wire rack
  6. Let the cookies cool. Serve

My Tip:

Mango puree should be neither runny nor thick
