Ingredients to make Rava Matthi & Aloo Rassa

  • 1cup maida
  • 1cup rava
  • 2tsp ajwain seeds
  • 2tsp oil for moin
  • salt to taste
  • For aloo rassa
  • 4 Boiled potatoes mashed
  • 2tsp oil
  • 1 tsp jira& heeng
  • 1tsp each spices.. red chilli powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder,garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tomatoes purred
  • Few kaduri methi crushed

How to make Rava Matthi & Aloo Rassa

  1. For Rava Matthi
  2. Knead a soft dough adding all ingredients
  3. Roll out small puris
  4. Pierce the Puri with fork on both the sides
  5. Deep fry them in low flame till golden brown
  6. Method for Aloo Rasaa
  7. Take oil in pan ,add jira& heeng
  8. Add tomato puree & all the spices
  9. Fry them a little, add the mashed potatoes
  10. Add 3cups of water
  11. Add salt to taste, give 3-4 boils
  12. Sprinkle crushed kasuri method & Serve hot with matthi
