Crunchy Wheat Jeera Cookies

Ingredients to make Crunchy Wheat Jeera Cookies

  • wheat flour 120gms
  • butter 80gms
  • sugar 30gms
  • Roasted cumin seeds 1tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1tsp

How to make Crunchy Wheat Jeera Cookies

  1. preheat oven at 180 degrees C
  2. Beat butter, salt with sugar till light and fluffy.
  3. Crush half cumin seeds and add to butter mix
  4. Add flour to this butter mixture and prepare a soft dough.
  5. If the mixture is crumbly add few drops of milk and prepare a dough.
  6. Roll the dough on clean surface and add remaining cumin on top and flatten it.
  7. Use a cookie cutter to cut the desired shape.
  8. Grease the baking tray and place the cookies at a little distance and bake for 12-15 minutes at 180 C or until golden brown from sides. This will make approximately 15 cookies.
  9. Remove the cookies from baking tray and let them cool on wire rack. Enjoy with hot cup of tea/ coffee
