Ingredients to make Apple Cinnamon Rice Pudding. ( Kids recipe )

  • apple ( gala/ royal) 1 big 200 grms
  • rice short grain 1/3 cup
  • Milk 400 grams
  • butter 2 tsp
  • sugar 6 tsp
  • all purpose flour 1 tsp
  • cardamom powder
  • salt a pinch
  • Vannila Extract 1 tsp
  • cinnamon sticks 4
  • pomegranate seeds 2 tsp ( optional )
  • Dried apricots 4 ( optional ).

How to make Apple Cinnamon Rice Pudding. ( Kids recipe )

  1. Peel and cut Apple into cubes.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and stir in Apple, Sugar (30 grms) and Cinnamon powder.
  3. Saute for 5 minutes and transfer to a bowl.
  4. In same pan saute washed rice for 5 minutes.
  5. Add all purpose flour in milk, mix well and add in rice slowly stirring constantly. Fry Cinnamon sticks in little butter and add to rice.
  6. Add Sugar ( rest 30 grms) as rice is about to cooked. Stir Continuously and let the rice cooked properly.
  7. Add Vanilla extract and serve with Apple. garnish with Pomegranate seeds and dried Apricot.
  8. You can serve it hot or Chilled.
  9. Add chilled milk if needed while serving cold.

My Tip:

You can preserve this for two days if refrigerated. Add milk while serving. A healthy way of giving milk to the kids.
