Muesli and Chia Seeds Porridge

Ingredients to make Muesli and Chia Seeds Porridge

  • FOR THE MUESLI :-
  • 4 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut flakes ; unsweetened
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • FOR THE PORRIDGE :-
  • 3/4th cup soaked chia seeds
  • 1/2 a litre milk
  • 1 cup muesli
  • 1 large banana
  • A handful of strawberries
  • 2 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • 1 cup of mixed nuts (pistachios , almonds , walnuts , cashew nuts )

How to make Muesli and Chia Seeds Porridge

  1. FOR THE MUESLI :-
  2. Preheat your oven to 180°.
  3. Mix together the oats , coconut flakes , coconut oil , cinnamon powder , salt , vanilla extract and almonds .
  4. On a baking tray lined with parchment paper , spread this mixture out and bake it for about 10 mins .
  5. In between the process , toss the mixture around just to prevent excessive baking.
  6. Once done , let it cool completely.
  7. This particular recipe approximately gives you 8 servings.
  8. FOR THE PORRIDGE :-
  9. Bring the milk to a boil.
  10. Arrange the bottom part of the jar with muesli and pour the milk till it's all soaked.
  11. Spread out some chia seeds above this .
  12. On the next layer , spread out the oats .
  13. Again , add in a layer of chia seeds .
  14. Lastly , top it off with honey and fruits followed by mixed nuts .
  15. Enjoy it as it is or you can even eat it chilled .
