Ingredients to make Rose flavour gud til chikki

  • 200 gm jaggery (gud )
  • 150 gm white sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped dry fruits(almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios)
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 tbsp rose essence or rose water

How to make Rose flavour gud til chikki

  1. Grate or break the jageery into small pieces with the help of a rolling pin.
  2. Take a pan add one tbs ghee heat it, add jaggery and cook till it melts.
  3. Add sesame seeds and the dry fruits, rose wate rand mix Well.
  4. Grease a big plate with clarified butter/ghee.
  5. Pour the mixture on the plate and flatten it with rolling pin.
  6. Cut the mixture into desired shapes. Store this in an air tight container.
