Tapioca & green chilli chutney

Ingredients to make Tapioca & green chilli chutney

  • Tapioca 500 gm
  • mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • urad dal - 1 tsp
  • oil
  • Kanthari or green chillies - 4
  • shallots 12 numbers
  • tamarind small piece
  • salt to taste
  • Coconut oil 1 table spoon
  • salt to taste

How to make Tapioca & green chilli chutney

  1. Peel the tapioca, wash and dice them. Put them in a saucepan of boiling water, cook till they are soft. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and salt. once these splutter, mix this tempering into the cooked tapioca, mix well.
  3. For chutney :
  4. Peel shallots, put them in a manual stone grinder ,add tamarind and salt, grind them coarsely ,manually with stone.
  5. Add coconut oil to it
  6. Serve tapioca with this chutney
