ABOUT Bajri vada RECIPE

A popular gujarati tea time snack. These are crunchy outside and soft inside. Stays good for a week.Recipe picked from veg recipes of india by Dassana amit.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Bajra flour 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour 2 tbsp
  3. Methi leaves half cup
  4. Seasame seeds 2 tbsp
  5. Melted ghee 3 tbsp
  6. Salt 1 tesp
  7. Red chilli powder 1/2 tesp
  8. Meetha soda a pinch
  9. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Mix all vada ingredients.
  2. Knead into a tight dough using water and rest it for half hour.
  3. Pinch lemon size balls and flatten them between your palms.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil on medium to low flame.
  5. Serve hot or store in air tight container as remains good up to a week.
