Ingredients to make Bajri vada

  • bajra flour 1 cup
  • Wheat flour 2 tbsp
  • methi leaves half cup
  • Seasame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Melted ghee 3 tbsp
  • salt 1 tesp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tesp
  • meetha soda a pinch
  • oil to deep fry

How to make Bajri vada

  1. Mix all vada ingredients.
  2. Knead into a tight dough using water and rest it for half hour.
  3. Pinch lemon size balls and flatten them between your palms.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil on medium to low flame.
  5. Serve hot or store in air tight container as remains good up to a week.

My Tip:

To make them gluten free, skip the wheat flour.
