Oat Puff Pastries

Ingredients to make Oat Puff Pastries

  • Oats 1 cup
  • carrots grated 1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Puff pastry sheet
  • butter for greasing
  • Milk about 5 tea spoons
  • Processed cheese, cubed 1 cup

How to make Oat Puff Pastries

  1. In a pan dry roast the oats until fragrant. In another pan heat a little butter, add the vegetables and saute. Then add the oats and water and cook till done, add the salt in the end.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it to form rectangles.
  3. Place the stuffing on the pastry and place the cubed cheese. Fold and seal using some milk.
  4. Brush the packets with butter. Bake it in the oven at 200 C for about 20 to 25 minutes.
