Ingredients to make Chiffon cake with white chocolate ganache

  • all purpose flour or maida 1cup
  • Powder sugar 80 gms+45gms
  • eggs 3
  • oil 50ml or 1/4cup
  • water 80ml or 1/3 cup
  • Baking powder 1tsp
  • cornflour 1tbsp
  • Compound white chocolate 500gms
  • cream (65%fat) 125gms
  • Edible Red colour

How to make Chiffon cake with white chocolate ganache

  1. Keep all the ingredients at room temperature near you
  2. Microwave the cream for 90seconds add small chocolate chunk and cover for 5 minutes
  3. Whisk the cream and make a smooth paste with a hand whisk refrigerat it for 10 minutes
  4. Keep your oven on preheat mode meanwhile sift maida, baking powder, cornflour
  5. Separate egg whites from yolks
  6. In egg yolks add 80 gms sugar and whisk it till ribbon stage it takes 2-3 minute use an electronic beater add oil, water. Beat it for few seconds.
  7. Add maida in two batches mix it well
  8. Now beat egg whites gradually add 45gms sugar beat till stiff peaks formed
  9. Fold this egg whites and few drop of red colour into maida with light hands
  10. Pour the batter in greased cake tin.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes on 170'c or till toothpick comes out clean
  12. Now beat your ganache for 1minute and keep it aside
  13. Once cake done keep it on a wire rack to cool down
  14. Trim the crumbs from sides and top as well of the cake slice it half
  15. Now spread a thick layer of ganache on one layer and keep the other one to make a sandwich
  16. Cover the cake with crumb coat and refrigerat it for 5 minutes
  17. Do the second coat and smooth it out with a hot spatula
  18. Make some balls by adding some chocolate ganache into cake crumbs and dip into melted chocolate
  19. Make some chocolate lace out of melted chocolate if you have with
  20. Use these balls and laces strawberry flowers to garnish
  21. Add oil
