My recipe is a fusion of different shades of a relationship. orange syrup symbol of joy,pink strawberry syrup symbol of romance, white chena color symbol of peace and at the end chocolate and mawa stuffing gives you feeling of intense love.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whole full cream Milk 2 litre
  2. Juice of 2 big size lemon
  3. Corn flour 1tbsp
  4. For Chena or cottage cheese stuffing -
  5. Chocolate broken into small pieces 50gm
  6. Chilled Strawberry flavour mawa 6tbsp
  7. For the chena syrup
  8. water 6 cups
  9. sugar 2 cups
  10. For the Rabdi -
  11. Milk 11/2 cup
  12. Milk powder 4tbsp
  13. Corn flour 1tbsp
  14. sugar 2tbsp or adjust according to your taste
  15. Green cardamom powder 1/2tsp
  16. Rose water 3-4drops
  17. Strawberry syrup 2tbsp
  18. Orange syrup 2 tbsp
  19. Pista and almonds sliced 4tbsp for garnishing


  1. Bring 2 litre of full cream milk to a boil. Turn off gas and cool gradually by stirring with spoon,squeeze in 2 lemon juice into it and stir after few seconds you will notice the milk will curdle and the chena ( cheese ) will float.
  2. Strain this mixture and pour some chilled water over it to stop the cooking process and to take out the lemony smell. Leave it aside for 10 min in the strainer or hang the muslin cloth till the chena completly dry
  3. Meanwhile combine the 2 cup sugar and 6cup water to make a sugar syrup.
  4. Once water is completely drained from chena start kneading the chena for 5-10 minute from back of your palm or till it becomes soft.
  5. Divide the chena dough into 15 small balls. Take out the chilled strawberry mawa make a flat disc on your palm and stuff in small pieces of chocolate cover it properly and make a small ball.
  6. make round flat disc of chena on this keep one ready chocolate stuffed mawa ball and cover it properly give a shape of flat disc. In a same way finish rest of the 14 chena balls
  7. Dip slowly in a boiling sugar syrup and cover the lid for about 15-20min.or till the chena becomes double in size.
  8. For rabdi- boil 11/2cup milk add green cardamom powder, sugar reduce to 1/2 Mix 4 tbsp milk powder and 1tbsp corn flour in 2 tbsp of milk pour this mixture in boiling milk Slowly stir inbetween so that it should not stick at the bottom. Cook for another 2minutes switch off the flame.
  9. Now divide this mixture in 3 parts one is cardamom flavour In second part add strawberry syrup In third part add orange syrup
  10. Squeeze chena from sugar syrup and sift 5 chena in each flavour of rabdi .
  11. Garnish with sliced pista and almonds and enjoy with ur loved one.
