Ingredients to make Luchi

  • 1 cup atta
  • salt to taste
  • water to knead dough
  • 1/2 liter oil

How to make Luchi

  1. Knead all the ingredients to a smooth dough.
  2. Set aside for 10 mins before you start rolling
  3. Start rolling them
  4. It should be roughly 4/5 inches in diameter.
  5. Heat 1/2 litre of refined oil.
  6. Once it is smoking hot, start frying your luchi.

My Tip:

As you fry your luchi/poori, keep pressing on the belly to make it fluffy.
