Ingredients to make Tadka moong dal laccha paratha

  • Ĺeftover tadka moong dal (yellow)-1katori
  • wheat flour as per requirement as no water is used to knead the dough only dal is used
  • FinelyChopped onion-1
  • Finely chopped ginger-1teaspoon
  • turmeric powder-a pinch
  • salt as per taste
  • Black pepper powder-1teaspoon
  • coriander powder-1/2teaspoon
  • Pinch of ajwain
  • desi ghee

How to make Tadka moong dal laccha paratha

  1. Knead the dough with dal and dry masalas and keep it aside for sometime
  2. Now take some dough and make a ball
  3. Now roll it with rolling pin
  4. Now apply some ghee and roll it with hands like a long roll
  5. Now make a round of the roll and press it gently
  6. Now spread some flour and roll it again with rolling pin
  7. Now roast this paratha with ghee from both the sides on tawa
  8. Serve hot with curd and pickle.

My Tip:

No water is used all the moisture (water )of dal is used to knead the dough
