Brinjal with Sour Cream

Ingredients to make Brinjal with Sour Cream

  • 2 medium large brinjals
  • 100 gms sour cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder to garnish
  • Oil to spray the brinjals

How to make Brinjal with Sour Cream

  1. Slice the brinjals about 1/4" thick. Put a little salt on both sides and let it sit for 30 mins.
  2. Spray or rub the slices with a little oil and bake the slices or pan fry them till cooked.
  3. Just before serving put them in a hot oven till scalding and then put sour cream and a sprinkle of red chilli powder on it.
  4. Back in the oven for 2 mins and serve immediately.

My Tip:

If you don't have sour cream, just add a pinch of salt and a little lemon juice to plain cream and mix it properly and it's ready to use
