  • Idly rice- 1 cup
  • Urad dal- 1/4 cup

  1. Start by washing the idli rice, ragi and methi seeds thoroughly and soak it in water for about 3-4 hours
  2. Do the same with urad dal separately
  3. After 4 hours, grind urad dal first until it becomes white and fluffy
  4. Pour it into a bowl
  5. Then grind idli rice, ragi and methi in the blender.
  6. Mix both the batters well along with salt and leftover idli or Dosa batter
