Ingredients to make Hare Chane Ki Tanduri Pan Roti

  • 100 gm fresh hare chane (choliya)
  • Hand full of fresh coriander leaves.
  • 2 green chillies
  • 100 gm wheat flour.
  • Salt and Red chilli powder as per your taste.
  • Pure ghee or butter.

How to make Hare Chane Ki Tanduri Pan Roti

  1. Put the wheat flour in a bowl.keep on adding water slowly to make soft dough
  2. Keep aside for 5 mins.
  3. Grind the chana to make a coarse paste.
  4. Make sure the paste is not watery.
  5. Grind coriander and green chilies separately.
  6. Now mix the chana paste and coriander chilly paste.Also add the spices.
  7. Take small amount of dough and roll it with rolling pin.
  8. Keep the filling(one spoon) over the rolled dough and make it in the shape of a ball.
  9. Roll it again.Softly as a roti.
  10. Keep a flat-bottomed aluminum pan on the flame.
  11. Wet one side of the roti with water and keep it in the pan taking care that the wet side touches the surface of the pan.
  12. Turn the pan upside down and turn the flame to the lowest.
  13. Keep checking it from time to time.
  14. When it has started getting golden brown turn the pan back.
  15. Take the roti out of the pan with the help of tong (chimta) when it is cooked.
  16. If you want it crispier, you may directly keep the roti on the flame and roast it with a tongs.
  17. Apply ghee or butter on it. Serve it hot with curd and pickle.
My Tip: If you feel the paste is getting watery, do not keep it unused for long. keep on adding the spices side by side while making the roties. You may add besan if it is getting too watery
