Spiced Carrot Cake

Ingredients to make Spiced Carrot Cake

  • Gulab Jamun mix 3/4 cup
  • Flour/ Wheat flour 3/4 cup
  • Tea Masala 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Grated Carrot 1 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Olive/ Regular oil 1/4 cup

How to make Spiced Carrot Cake

  1. 1.Preheat the oven at around 200*F 2. Grease a baking try which is about 8 to 9 inches in diameter and two inches in depth 3. Combine the Gulab Jamun mix, wheat / flour, baking powder and soda, salt. 4. Powder the sugar and tea Masala and add it to the bowl with the dry ingredients. 5. Sieve the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. 6. Add the vinegar to the milk and allow it to split. Add oil to this mixture 7. Gentle fold the milk mixture into the dry ingredients 8. Add the grated carrot and mix well 9. Transfer into the baking tray and into the oven and bake for about 30mins depending on your oven 10. Once done allow it to settle before de-moulding. 11. Cut and serve
