Chicken Kebab/ Cutlet

Ingredients to make Chicken Kebab/ Cutlet

  • Shredded boiled chicken - 1 Cup
  • salt to taste
  • Homemade garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes- 5 medium sized
  • pepper powder as per taste
  • 2 eggs
  • oil to shallow fry
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp - tandoori chicken masala powder

How to make Chicken Kebab/ Cutlet

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes, then add salt and a little coriander leaves. Mix it well together.
  2. To make the chicken, boil it with salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, tandoori chicken masala. Once it is boiled, let it cool and then shred it by hand.
  3. Next, add the pepper powder and mix well. In a small bowl, beat the eggs, salt and pepper together and keep aside.
  4. Make the desired shapes of the chicken cutlets and dip it in the beaten egg mixture.
  5. Shallow fry them in batches and drain the excess oil on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve hot with any dipping sauce of your choice.

My Tip:

Do not add too much salt as it is already present in the potatoes and chicken as well.

I've been searching for a chicken cutlet recipe, this looks really good :D Can we skip the addition of potatoes and add onions and tomatoes instead or any other ingredients?
