Ingredients to make Mango Platter

  • For the mango Mocktail:
  • Green mangoes 2
  • aloo Bukhara 2
  • Green chilli 1
  • sugar 4 tsp
  • jeera powder 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • mint leaves 5-6
  • For the mango fries:
  • Half ripen mangoes 2
  • Refined flour 4 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • egg 1
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • oil 1 cup
  • sesame seeds 1 tsp

How to make Mango Platter

  1. For the Mango Mocktail:
  2. Peel the mango and finely chop it, finely chop the aloo bukhara also.
  3. In a pan, add Aloo bukhara, sugar, chopped green chilli, jeera powder, chaat masala, black pepper and chopped mango. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Cool and add cold water, mix properly with a muddler and strain it. Pour into a glass and add mint leaves, lemon juice and black salt.
  5. For the Mango fries:
  6. Make a batter with refined flour, corn flour, white pepper and salt. Cut long and thick strips of mango. Separate egg white into a bowl.
  7. Dip the mango strips in the batter, then in egg wash and after that, coat with bread crumbs mixed with sesame seeds and fry for 4-5 minutes. Serve hot crisp mango fries with chilled mango mocktail.
