Ingredients to make Puris

  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • oil to fry

How to make Puris

  1. Take wheat flour.Add salt,mix.Add 3 tbsp oil.Mix well.
  2. Little by little add water, bind flour to smooth dough. Knead well. It should be pliable. Cover in airtight container. Keep in fridge for 15 minutes.
  3. In kadai, heat oil.
  4. After 15 minutes, with greased hands knead again. Make medium sized balls.
  5. On rolling board and rolling pin,roll out medium sized puries. Not so thick nor thin.
  6. Fry golden brown Flipping both sides.

My Tip:

Can add 3 tbsp warm milk while kneading dough. That will make puries white,light and fluffy.
