Maggi in white sauce

Ingredients to make Maggi in white sauce

  • Maggi 1 small packet
  • bell pepper diced 1 tablespoon
  • corn kernels 1 tablespoon
  • carrot diced 1 tablespoon
  • broccoli small cut into pieces
  • For White Sauce
  • butter/olive oil 2 teaspoon
  • all purpose flour 2 teaspoon
  • milk 1 cup (100 ml)
  • oregano 2 pinches
  • chili flakes a pinch
  • dried basil leaves a pinch
  • salt to taste

How to make Maggi in white sauce

  1. boil water in a wok
  2. add maggi and cook for 2 minute
  3. strain maggi in a strainer and rinse it with normal water.
  4. drain water
  5. microwave all veggies for 30 second and keep aside.
  6. melt butter in another pan add all purpose flour
  7. sauté for a minute or two
  8. add milk slowly with continuous whisking on low flame to prevent formation of lumps
  9. mixture will start to thicken
  10. add microwaved veggies, salt, oregano, chili flakes, dried basil leaves and maggi masala(taste maker)
  11. mix well
  12. bring mixture to boil.
  13. add boiled maggi
  14. mix and serve hot

My Tip:

serve hot. Sauce thickens as it cools.
