Ingredients to make Parotta

  • All purpose flour/maida- 2cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Egg - 1nos
  • Sugar - 2tbsp
  • Oil - 1/2 cup

How to make Parotta

  1. Take a bowl add maid a, salt and egg.
  2. Dissolve sugar in milk and pour it into the flour (maida)
  3. Add 2 or 3 tbsp oil to the flour and start kneading and make it as an soft dough
  4. Cover the dough atleast for 1hour.
  5. After 1hour again knead the dough for 2mins and make it more soft
  6. Then make a small or medium balls from the dough
  7. After that in to that ball pour 1/2 cup of oil and place it for atleast 2hrs
  8. Then start rolling the dough till it become very thin
  9. Keep it between 2 fingers and roll it around
  10. Now flattened it by your palm and roll the dough .
  11. Heat tawa and start cooking parotta
  12. Then finally fluff it up by beating the parotta after it get cooked.
