Ingredients to make Moong Dal Salad in Bread Bowls

  • 3 brown bread slices
  • 1 boiled potato
  • ½ cup soaked moong dal ( To make Dry/Churi dal  )
  • ½ Cup Beaten curd
  • pinch of black salt
  • Pinch of black pepper powder
  • Pinch of jeera powder
  • 2 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoon chopped tomato
  • 1 tablespoon nylon sev

How to make Moong Dal Salad in Bread Bowls

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  2. In a heavy bottom pan, Boil ½ Cup moong dal in ½ cup water till cooked.
  3. Add salt, red chilli Powder while boiling the dal.
  4. Keep aside to cool completely.
  5. Moisten the slices of bread and roll flat.
  6. Put in cupcakes moulds.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes till crunchy.
  8. Add potatoes pieces, Dal, onion, tomato pieces together.
  9. Season with salt.
  10. Add salt, jeera powder, black pepper powder to beaten curd.
  11. Add dal mixture into the bread katoris.
  12. Put one tablespoon curd on top.
