Chicken Fry....

Ingredients to make Chicken Fry....

  • chicken bone 800 gm
  • red chilli powder 2 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Sumac 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Ground cumin 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
  • Ground coriander 1 tsp
  • olive oil 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying 2 cups
  • spring onions chopped a cup
  • Parsley or coriander chopped a fistful

How to make Chicken Fry....

  1. Marinate the chicken well with all the spices.
  2. Add a tablespoon of oil to the marination.
  3. After an hour, deep fry the pieces in enough oil until done.
  4. Alternatively it can be shallow fried too using minimum oil in a pan by covering it
  5. Keep checking it in between and turn it also to cook it evenly.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve.
  7. If desired top it up with the vegetables of your choice and a good sprinkle of sumac and fresh finely chopped parsley or coriander.
  8. Serve it right away.
