Ingredients to make Mango Bhapa Doi - Aam Doi !

  • 1 cup : Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup : Thick mango pulp
  • 1/4 cup : full fat milk
  • 400 gm : sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp : cardamom powder
  • Few pistachios for garnish
  • Few saffron strands for garnish (optional)

How to make Mango Bhapa Doi - Aam Doi !

  1. Start by preheating your oven at 350 F (180 C).
  2. In a mixing bowl add mango pulp, Greek yogurt , milk , condensed milk, cardamom powder and whisk good without any lumps.
  3. Pour into ramekins. This amount will perfectly fit into four ramekins.
  4. Place the ramekins into a water bath (a deep baking tray half filled with hot water).
  5. Bake for around 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  6. Once done turn off the oven. Remove and cool them to room temperature.
  7. Cover with a cling film and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve chilled.
  8. Just before serving sprinkle some more cardamom powder, saffron (if using) and garnish with nuts of choice. I used pistachios.
  9. Smooth, lucious and melt in mouth Aam Doi.

My Tip:

Greek yogurt can be substituted with hung curd.
