Ingredients to make Bread Bowls Salad with Yoghurt Sauce

  • Bread Slices 6
  • Boiled Chickpeas 1/2Cup
  • Chopped Capsicum 2tbsp
  • Chopped Onion 2tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes 1/4 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2Cup
  • Sugar 1tbsp
  • Imli chutney 1tbsp
  • Oil 1tsp
  • Pomegranate Seeds 1/4Cup
  • Coriander Leaves 1tsp

How to make Bread Bowls Salad with Yoghurt Sauce

  1. Take bread slices. Cut the corners. Flatten the slice by rolling pin one by one.
  2. Cut the flattened pieces in roundels.
  3. Grease the muffin tray with oil.
  4. Place the bread roundels in muffin tray.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes. When baked, take out the bread cups and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  6. For preparing yogurt sauce, beat the yogurt in a bowl.
  7. Add sugar and a pinch of salt and mix well. Keep it aside.
  8. In another bowl, add chickpeas, capsicum and onion.
  9. Add chaat masala, chili flakes and salt to it and mix well.
  10. Add this mixture to bread bowls.
  11. Over the mixture, add yogurt sauce.
  12. Spread a little imli chutney over the yogurt sauce.
  13. Top it up with pomegranate seeds.
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves.

My Tip:

Serve immediately otherwise, the bread bowls will turn soggy
