Ingredients to make Kurkure sticks

  • For making stick we need:
  • 1 cup grated vegetables ( beans, capsicum, cabbage, carrot and boiled potato)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • salt as per taste.
  • For coating:
  • 2 tsp of flour mixed in a little water
  • 5 tbsp bread crumbs

How to make Kurkure sticks

  1. Take a bowl add mash potato in it .
  2. Add all vegetables.
  3. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs.
  4. Add all the spices- red chilli powder, Chaat Masala, salt and black pepper powder.
  5. Mix it well.
  6. Now take a portion of the mixture. Shape into a cylindrical shaped cutlet.
  7. Coat the veggie chop with the flour batter.
  8. Now coat the batter coated veg chop in breadcrumbs. 
  9. Leave it for half hour in freeze.
  10. After half hour deep fry in hot oil at low temperature.
  11. Serve it hot with sauce or green chutney.

My Tip:

Fry the cutlet in low flame.
