Ingredients to make Khatta Meetha Karonde ka Murabba

  • 250 g karonda chopped and seeds removed
  • 400g sugar
  • salt 1/4 spoon
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • red food colour (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water

How to make Khatta Meetha Karonde ka Murabba

  1. Put water and karonda in a kadhai. Add salt and cover with lid and cook on sim flame till it softens (only little soft)
  2. Add sugar and cook till it thickens.
  3. Turn off the gas. Put cardamom powder and 4-5 drops of red food colour. Mix.
  4. leave to cool down at room temperature. After cooling down, store in your desired container and eat whenever you want.
