Ingredients to make Moong dal ki khasta kachauri

  • 200 gm Maida
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • 50 gm mung dal soaked in water for 3 hours
  • Asfoetida 1/2 tsp
  • sauf 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • oil 1 tablespoon for frying
  • Red chilly powder
  • Dhania powder

How to make Moong dal ki khasta kachauri

  1. Take maida add oil in it ,add pinch of salt ,knead the soft dough using water.Cover the dough with a muslin cloth n keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan add asafoetida ,sauf add mung dal ,,salt ,garam masala ,chaat powder red chilly powder ,dhania powder ,turmeric ,mix well , n saute them, cook on a medium flame for a fee seconds .
  3. Take a maida douh make a round balls of maida dough roll out each portion of the dough into a 75mm.( 3" ) diameter circle .
  4. Place one portion of the mung dal mixture filling in the centre. Bring together all the sides ,seal it tightly .
  5. Ensure the filling does not spill out.Gently press the center of the kachori with ur thumb .
  6. Heat oil in a deep non stick kadhai on a mexium flame and deep dry.
  7. 3 kachoris at a time on a slow flame for 5 minutes.
  8. Turning them in between till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides .
  9. Kachoris r ready to serve .Served it with a red chilly chutney or any ur choice of dip .Enjoy it wit a hot cup of tea or coffee.
