Ingredients to make Mix pulses and veg handvo

  • Split green gram soaked 1/4 cup
  • Split black gram soaked 1/4 cup
  • Split Bengal gram soaked 1/4 cup
  • Split red gram soaked 1/4 cup
  • soaked rice 1/2 cup
  • sesame seeds 2tsp
  • mustard seeds 1tsp
  • lemon juice 2tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2tsp
  • Garam masaala 1tsp
  • sugar 1tsp
  • oil 2tbsp
  • Finely chopped mix vegetables like bottle guard, carrot, capsicum 1 cup
  • salt to taste

How to make Mix pulses and veg handvo

  1. Take all soaked pulses, rice and grind it to make a paste.
  2. Now in the pulses paste mix all ingredients except oil, sesame seeds, mustard seeds.
  3. Now in the mixture mix 1 tbsp oil.
  4. Now take a wok, put 1 tbsp oil in it and heat it.
  5. In the hot oil put mustard seeds when it crackle add sesame seeds
  6. Now put the mixture on it and cover with a lid for 10 mins
  7. After 10 mins check it, it's colour become brown now flip it and again cover it with lid for 10 mins
  8. After 10 min handvo is ready to remove from wok Serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce.
