Ingredients to make Hare Chane Aur Urad Dal Vadi Ka Nimona

  • Fresh hare channa 250 grams
  • urad dal vada 1/2 cup
  • onion paste 2 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • turmeric powder 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • ghee 1 tbsp
  • hing 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Hare Chane Aur Urad Dal Vadi Ka Nimona

  1. Coarsely grind chana in a grinder. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the vada till golden and then fry the ground chana in the same pan till golden.
  2. Now heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, crackle the cumin seeds, add hing, then fry the onion, ginger, garlic paste till the paste become golden.
  3. Now add red chilly powder, coriander powder, salt, and turmeric and then stir it. Add tomato puree and cook the masala until the oil separates.
  4. Add roasted chana, vada and 2 glass of water. Cover and cook on sim for 10 to 15 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with boiled rice.

My Tip:

You can add moong dal vada instead of urad dal vada.
