ABOUT Rice Cutlets RECIPE

Use the leftover rice to make these delicious cutlets and serve with the evening tea.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  2. Potato (boiled & grated) - 1
  3. Vegetables ( carrots, beans & bell peppers) - 1/4 th cup
  4. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Ginger (chopped) - 1 tsp
  6. Green chillies (chopped) - 1 tsp
  7. Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
  8. Cornflour - 3 tbsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Refined oil - for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. 1. Coarsely grind the cooked rice with vegetables together in a mixer grinder in few pulses.
  2. 3. Mix rest of the ingredients with the rice & vegetable mix to form a dough.
  3. 4. Make small patties out of the dough and deep fry them in hot oil.
  4. 5. Serve with a chutney or sauce.
