Pepperoni Arrabbiata

Ingredients to make Pepperoni Arrabbiata

  • Penne pasta - 250 gm
  • Onions - sliced 2 medium
  • Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • Crushed garlic cloves - 3
  • Olive oil - 21/2 tbsp
  • Pepperoni torn into pieces - 11/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli flakes - 11/2 tbsp
  • Thyme - 1 tsp
  • Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
  • Parsley flakes - 1 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup

How to make Pepperoni Arrabbiata

  1. Boil pasta, drain and keep aside.
  2. In a pot, heat the olive oil and add and saute crushed garlic. Add onions and saute them too.
  3. Pour in the tomato puree and the rest ingredients along with the pepperoni. Cover and simmer it on medium flame for 5-6 minutes .
  4. Lastly, add the boiled pasta and the cheese. Garnish with some freshly chopped coriander or parsley.
  5. Serve hot topped with some more cheese and chilli flakes.
